Chinese & USA Prekindergarten Study

In collaboration with Dr. Lindsay Weixler from Tulane University, the SEED Lab is coding videos of Pre-K classrooms in the U.S. and China to examine differences and similarities in the psychological space for learning. The research team consists of Pitt students and alums: Chong Lin, Carli Valach, Wen Liu, and Stella Jie Yan. A coding scheme for observing psychological safety is under development, and coding will continue through Summer 2016.
